Abstract

Purpose: The current investigation delves into the determinants that impact the decision-making process of outsourcing within India's Information Technology (IT) sector. It delves specifically into the intricate interplay among financial, strategic, technological, and human resource elements in these decisions while scrutinizing female leadership's influence on bolstering organizational performance and decision-making processes.

Methodology: Employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via the ADANCO 2.0.1 platform, this study meticulously explores the interconnections of various factors and their repercussions on outsourcing results. This methodology enables a thorough analysis of observable and underlying variables, facilitating a more precise comprehension of their direct and indirect implications.

Findings: Our examination outcomes disclose that strategic foresight, financial administration, technology deployment, and human resource tactics are vital for the triumphant execution of outsourcing ventures. Additionally, our research pinpoints a favourable association between female leadership and the augmentation of organizational efficiency and decision-making capabilities, highlighting the importance of gender diversity at upper management levels.

Value: By amalgamating an evaluation of crucial outsourcing factors with a specific emphasis on female leadership, this study contributes innovative perspectives to the domain. It accentuates the importance of strategic foresight in outsourcing undertakings and advocates for heightened gender diversity in leadership roles to elevate overall corporate performance.
