Abstract

Purpose: This research explores how organizations implement growth mindset principles and assesses the consequent effects on leadership behaviour and employee outcomes. It seeks to provide valuable insights for fostering a growth-oriented culture that enhances leadership effectiveness and employee engagement. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study uses a mixed-methods approach, qualitative and quantitative research methods together. Data was collected through surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus groups involving leaders and employees from various industries and organizations. Quantitative data was analyzed using statistical methods, while qualitative data was examined through thematic analysis. Findings: The findings indicate that organizations with high levels of growth mindset adoption experience significantly higher employee motivation, engagement, productivity, innovation, and overall performance. Successful implementation involves leadership commitment, comprehensive training programs, encouragement of risk-taking, constructive feedback, an inclusive environment, recognition of effort, and alignment of organizational policies. These practices enhance leadership effectiveness and create a positive work environment that supports continuous development. Originality/Value: This research adds to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on the practical methods organizations use to implement growth mindset principles and their impacts on leadership and employee behaviour. It highlights the multifaceted benefits of fostering a growth mindset culture and offers practical recommendations for leaders and organizations. Paper Type: Research Paper
