THE ROLE OF MCED IN DEVELOPMENT OF BACKWARD CLASS ENTREPRENEURS IN KOKAN REGION OF MAHARASHTRA

Abstract

The Maharashtra Center for Entrepreneurship Development not only provides quality entrepreneurship training but also provides hand-holding support to all the trainees unless and until their dreams become reality. MCED helps potential and existing entrepreneurs and then gradually ventured to train trainers and faculty members. The Maharashtra Center for Entrepreneurship development plays a crucial role in shaping the economic landscape of nations, fostering innovation, and driving job creation as well as, empowerment of women and rural peoples. MCED represents the engine of economic growth of the nation and the catalyst for eternal transformational change in developed and developing economies. Overall, 1,50,000 above entrepreneurs have been trained by MCED in the last five years (2018-2022). 40% to 45% of the businesses are successful in facilitating the creation of entrepreneurial and managerial capabilities in individuals and organizations, by achieving total customer satisfaction, using emerging technologies, ethics and values, being a financially strong and globally excellent organizations, appropriately matching with employee’s aspirations.
